Do I have to migrate my existing data stack to use dmp-cloud?

No. dmp-cloud works on top of the warehouse you already run — Snowflake, BigQuery, Postgres, Redshift, Databricks, and others. There’s no rewrite, no migration, and no proprietary storage layer. Point it at your existing project and you’re up in minutes.

How is dmp-cloud different from Airflow + a BI tool?

Airflow is a generic task orchestrator and BI tools are read-only. dmp-cloud is built for the domain — the right unit of abstraction for data teams. You get a native scheduler, 40+ pre-built domain health metrics, column-level lineage, and a web IDE in one place. No DAGs to maintain, no custom dashboards to build, no glue code between three tools.

What does the per-user pricing on the Pro plan cover?

The first 5 users are free, forever. Beyond that, you pay $100 per active user per month — billed only for users who logged in during the billing period. That includes unlimited workspaces, unlimited domains, the full feature set (Web IDE, scheduler, metrics, column-level lineage, AI agent access), and email support.

How does Enterprise usage-minute pricing work?

Enterprise is billed by compute minutes — the time your transformations and scheduler actually run on dmp-cloud infrastructure. There are no per-user fees and no caps on workspaces or domains. It’s the right fit when you have many users, heavy workloads, or strict requirements like dedicated SLA, custom RBAC roles, audit log export, or private cloud / on-prem deployment.

Can I connect an AI agent to dmp-cloud?

Yes. dmp-cloud exposes an MCP (Model Context Protocol) endpoint that lets Claude, ChatGPT, or your own copilot query domains, traverse lineage, surface failed runs, and answer questions in natural language. Agents authenticate through the same scope-aware RBAC as human users, so you keep full control over what they can see and do.

What about SSO, audit logs, and on-prem deployment?

SSO via SAML and OIDC is included on Pro and Enterprise. Audit log export, custom RBAC roles, dedicated SLA, and private cloud or on-premise deployment are all available on Enterprise. We’ll work with your security team during onboarding to make sure your compliance requirements are met.
